The Barking frog Mediterranean restaurant was created by Robert Baker, a well travelled, experienced caterer. Ideas developed from visits to many restaurants, bars, and generally being a nosey parker when travelling, the restaurant recreates the feel and warmth of the Mediterranean. The experienced chefs deliver great tasting food cooked individually for you. The restaurant also has its own lounge which has influence from the Far East and Morocco. With a great cocktail list and beer selection it’s popular as a pre dinner treat or as a local for sandgrounders (Southport born and bred). It’s a great place to lose yourself or party with friends after dinner. The restaurant caters for all from vegetarians, fish lovers, and general food buffs.
